Volunteer Hours Feature

NOTE: You must attend a training webinar for Volunteer Hours or Verify to PraxiPower that you have watched all 5 of the training videos. Once you have done that, your school ADMINISTRATOR can email jennifer@praxipower.com with your school id and a statement of completing the webinar or video training (All five videos). Then the feature may be turned on for your school. We cannot train this feature individually by connecting to support.

Volunteer Hours enables you school to:

Track Hours by A/R Account (Family)
Track Hours by Student
You can charge a required number of hours to all A/R or Students using the Batch Hrs Wizard at the beginning of the year.
At the end of the year you can charge hours shortfall to the a/r account at an hourly rate you determine.
You can allow parent/student data entry on the portal.

Menu Items: (Admin | Volunteer)
- Volunteer Hours Data
  - View Edit Data
  - Approve Hours entered on the Portal
  - Create Custom Reports
- Single Hrs Wizard
  - Allows single A/R or Student viewing and management of hours. Therefore, the user does not have to have access to the Student or A/R file.
  - Print Reports.
- Batch Hrs Wizard
  - Allows Batch Posting of annual pledges.
  - Batch Clear end of year balances.
  - Charge A/R for shortfall if that is your policy
  - Batch add whether or not to track hours for an account or student.
- Hours Types
  - Customize Hours Types: i.e. Worked Ballgame, Worked at Orientation...
  - You can mark if the type is visible to use on the portal.
If you turn on hours of A/R and/or Students, there will be a tab in the student record where you can see and manage hours for that A/R or Student.
Your can grant portal access to view, add, edit, or delete records. (Separate access for each function.)
Even if you grant edit and delete access, once the office approves the entries, the portal can no longer edit or delete.
